Air Canada CEO to quit after outrage over LaGuardia crash that killed two pilots – because he didn’t say sorry in FRENCH

Shocking reports are speaking about how the CEO of Air Canada has apologized after politicians called for his resignation over his English-only message of condolence.

The news comes after the deadly crash in New York that left both the flight's pilot and co-pilot dead and many others injured.

The CEO was slammed for issuing an apology in English, despite French being the country's more popular language.

Now, sources have confirmed that he's stepping down for this very reason after a massive wave of criticism from board members. Michael Rousseau received the backlash for the apology when he issued a four-minute-long condolence video published online that included only two French words, which were Bonjour and Merci, or Hello and Thank You.

After the criticism, he tried to justify his reasoning by mentioning more about how he is saddened by his inability to speak French and the fact that this has now taken away attention from the profound grief of the families and the great resilience of the company's employees.

He apologized again and stated that he's working on his efforts to improve, but that didn't seem to be good enough as Quebec's premier called on the airline's executive to resign today, which has now been confirmed.
