Sophie Turner has suffered from a back injury while working on the upcoming Lara Croft Tomb Raider reboot, as shared by local media outlets.
The news means production has halted for the Amazon MGM Studios series until the Game of Thrones star recovers.
{img}Sources predict that it might take her as much as two weeks to a month to recover and begin filming on set again. In the meantime, the crew members are said to be paid and busy with prep work. As per insiders, the actress already had a pre-existing back injury that progressed to worse conditions with long hours on set since filming began in January.
{img}Insiders claim Sophie has been working really hard and preparing for this role that is extremely demanding physically and grueling each day. She had to push her body to new limits, and that has now taken a toll on her previous injury, requiring rest for weeks to enable proper healing.
