Meghan Markle's estranged father has tried his luck at love again and become successful at the age of 81.
According to reports from local media outlets, Thomas says he's beyond happy and blessed to be in love with a nurse from the Philippines who is nearly 35 years his junior. But age is just a number in this relationship, he revealed, adding how the pair share a beautiful connection like no other.
{img}The retired Hollywood lighting director mentioned how he's just beyond happy to be living a joyful and meaningful life after years of suffering and anguish. This is right after his daughter allegedly dumped him and cut ties with him in 2018, opting to marry into the royal family.
"I never expected to find my joy and happiness again at this age, but here I am," he mentioned.
{img}Mr. Markle and his former wife, who was Meghan's mother, split when she was just five years old. He then met his new love, named Rio Canedo, as he recovered from a serious and life-threatening surgery that would remove his left leg below the knee.
Rio, who is a mom of two grown kids, says she had no clue who Thomas was when she met him, but is delighted to be a part of his life now.
