Savannah Guthrie Breaks Down in Emotional First Interview Since Her Mother's Disappearance: 'I Will Not Hide My Face'

NBC anchor Savannah Guthrie was seen speaking for the first time during an interview regarding her mother's disappearance.

Savannah was highly emotional and just couldn't stop crying from start to end, leaving viewers heartbroken as they heard what she had to say.

This is her first televised interview since her mother's kidnapping that took place 53 days ago.

Hoda Kotb, who is Guthrie's former Today show colleague, returned to the studio to cover for her dear friend and professional partner amid Nancy's disappearance.

Savannah shared how she and her entire family have been in agony for so long, and she hopes and prays that someone does the right thing soon. "It's just so unbearable,"- she revealed, while speaking about how terrifying it must be for someone her mother's age to be dragged out of bed in the middle of the night. Savannah vowed to continue the fight and search for her mother and vowed to never to back down or hide her face.
