Disgraced cop chokes up describing how she lost ‘everything in 15 seconds’ before she was shot in chest

The off-duty cop from Massachusetts is on trial for pulling out a gun on a fellow officer. She was seen testifying on Wednesday about how she lost everything in a 15-second-long chat with the fellow cops who were sent to serve with a restraining order.

The officer in question was identified as Kelsey Fitzsimmons from North Andover Police Station, who recalled the shocking moment another officer in the department, named Patrick Noonan, had shot her in the chest and punctured her leg.

She shared more details about how she felt like she was drowning as her lungs filled up with blood, and her co-workers worked hard to save her life. Fitzsimmons is now accused of assault for pointing a gun at officers, but she claims that she was trying to kill herself after suffering from severe postpartum depression.

"I wished to be alone with my firearm and take my life,"- Fitzsimmons mentioned from the witness stand at her assault trial in Lawrence's courtroom. "I made that decision when I realized that I had just lost everything in a 15-second conversation with my co-worker,"- she revealed.

The 29-year-old mother described how three officers came to her home informing her about the order from her fiancé, Justin Aylaian, which left her with no choice but to temporarily turn over custody of their infant son, named Caden.
