After arriving at the destination, the night took a turn for the worse that no one had anticipated. The Air Canada Express flight slammed into a fire truck on the runway, leaving both the pilot and co-pilot dead.

The plane smashed right into the center of the very large fire truck, as confirmed by a source at NBC News, and the plane was left with a battered nose.

Meanwhile, passengers were inside the cabin screaming and recovering from the sudden shock.

Rescuers scrambled to bring the passengers to safety and found one of the flight attendants had been ejected from the plane upon impact. She was still in her jump seat near the front of the ill-fated flight 8646 as per NBC News. Rescuers claim it was a miracle that she was still alive and strapped to the seat, outside the plane, where the wreckage lay.
