Flight Recorders reveal excruciating final 3 minutes before Air Canada plane’s deadly LaGuardia crash

The doomed Air Canada flight 8646's cockpit recorder has revealed how the flight turned from routine to tragedy in a matter of minutes on Sunday.

Both the pilot and co-pilot were killed in that tragedy, and more than 40 people sustained injuries when the plane crashed into a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York City around midnight.

As per NTSB's senior aviation investigators, the plane had a harrowing final minute as they provided a detailed timeline starting with the flight crew contacting the Air Control Traffic tower up to the moment of the deadly crash.

The jet was said to be traveling fast at 105 mph when it rammed into a fire truck, as seen in a shocking video footage.

The details about the chilling lead-up to the crash surfaced as authorities shared other, more deeply disturbing moments about the same night. It's still not clear who was conducting the duties of the ground controller, as investigations into that continue.

The fire truck involved in this crash was not equipped with a key device to track the movements around the runway, and it's not yet clear if the driver could hear the air tower's desperate pleas to stop, as per the NTSB officials.
