A couple from Oklahoma was charged after they allegedly made use of a teenage girl as a surrogate.
Nathan Potier and Erica Palmer both have been accused of using a girl as a surrogate when she was just 14 years old. The teenager is now 15 and is said to be pregnant with twins as a result.
{img}The Oklahoma City Police Department obtained a search warrant for Potier's DNA for a paternity test, as per local media outlets. Before that could occur, Potier and Palmer had fled the state.
The duo was soon captured and arrested on outstanding felony warrants in Sparks, Nevada, on March 17 by the US Marshals Task Force.
{img}Potier is now charged with abuse of a child, while Palmer is charged with enabling child abuse. She also faces two counts of desertion of a child under 15.
