A 24-carat gold coin featuring US President Donald Trump has been unanimously approved by the Commission of Fine Arts to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
Several hand-picked allies of Trump had taken part in approving the design on Thursday, giving the US Mint the go-ahead to start production of this commemorative coin.

{img}The coin features a design that is inspired by Trump's portrait in the National Portrait Gallery.
One side of this coin would display a stern-looking Trump with clenched fists resting on a desk. This would be accompanied by the inscription Liberty shown above. The reverse side of the mockups would feature a bald eagle poised for flight.
