'UNDER PRESSURE' Trump’s ex-intel chief reveals shock Charlie Kirk theory linked to Israel days after quitting security post over Iran

Donald Trump's former counterterrorism offical that resigned over the war in Iran is speaking out about his suspicion piqued when the FBI blocked his investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination.

Joe Kent, who was the former director of the national counterterrorism center, went on Tucker Carlson's podcast to shed light on how he ended up losing confidence in the president, whom he thinks was duped into this war by Israel.

His resignation comes at a perilous moment for the administration, with Trump breaking with Israel over strikes on the Iranian gas fields that set the Gulf ablaze, sparking major retaliatory strikes on America's Arab allies on Wednesday.

Kent spoke to a former Fox News host who said Kirk's last words to him were: 'Joe, stop us from getting into a war with Iran.'

Texts from the Turning Point USA co-founder suggest that he had turned against Israel in the months before his death, fueling conspiracy theories that his death was not at the hands of a lone wolf gunman but also had third parties involved.

These included foreign entities and potentially other domestic powers, as he had to deal with a lot of pressure from pro-Israel donors.
