Tragic reports have confirmed that the remains of missing University of Alabama student James Paul Gracey were found in the sea in Barcelona. The news comes after he was declared missing in Spain.
His body was located at the Somorrostro Beach at about 6 pm local time on Thursday. The police shared more about how the accounting major was last seen at Shoko, which is a beachview nightclub in Villa Olimpica. This was confirmed by his parents, who stated the matter.
Gracey was said to be wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and a chain with a gold rhinestone cross across it when he went missing.
The president of the university's Theta Chi fraternity mentioned how the student was with the group at the club, and then he got separated from them. This was the last time anybody ever saw him.
About 10 people are in Barcelona visiting a few fraternity members who are studying abroad. As per the police, they received a call about a possible disappearance of a person who went missing at about 3 am on Tuesday.
His parents got very concerned when he refused to pick up their very rare phone call. Investigations are now taking place to determine the cause of death as authorities suspect foul play.
