Former 19 Kids and Counting celeb Joseph Duggar is facing some serious charges after allegedly molesting a girl aged nine.
The incident is said to have taken place while he was vacationing in the year 2020.
The 31-year-old was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim who was less than 12 years old and also charges related to a person who was 18 years old or older, the Sheriff's office confirmed.
The former TLC star is now awaiting his extradition to Bay County to face these charges. He was booked into the Washington County, Arkansas jail, as confirmed by PEOPLE magazine.
The celeb was charged in connection with sexual abuse linked to a minor who was on vacation with her family in Panama City Beach, Florida.
The alleged incident arose when he asked the victim to sit on his lap. As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on the couch and covered them with a blanket. He even manipulated the victim's underwear and grazed her genitals. He would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs.
