In a very exclusive conversation with Variety Magazine, Mills was seen opening up about the backlash linked to the Academy Awards as fans took to social media to express how disappointed they were over the matter, adding how this is not the first time that such a matter has taken place. Some even went as far as to bring race into the picture, as the winners were from South Korea, but the Academy has rejected the allegations as baseless.
