The 80-year-old superstar and country music legend shared with fans during the opening of the 2026 season of her theme park, dubbed Dollywood, how she’s opening up about her personal struggles linked to her health.

The star also shared how, in the past year, she’s been having to deal with matters that made it emotionally hard for her to continue and come back in the public eye.
This includes the loss of her dear husband, Carl Dean, who passed away in the year 2025. The grief and stress impacted her both mentally and physically.
