A late-night prank in Georgia turned into a heartbreaking tragedy recently after a high school teacher was fatally struck by a vehicle outside his own residence.
The incident took place in Gainesville, Georgia, on Thursday, as a group of teens tried to attempt the common prank that swiftly escalated into a fatal accident that left five youngsters facing criminal charges.

Officials claimed he approached the vehicles that the teens were trying to flee in. As one 18-year-old student named Jayden Wallace drove his pickup truck away from the scene, Hughes tripped and fell into the road. The vehicle struck him during the attempted escape situation.
