Health officials have rolled out a new travel advisory warning regarding the spread of polio in several parts of the world.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shared a Level 2 travel alert, advising travelers to take extra precautions because this virus has been detected in several countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and even Asia.

Other impacted regions include countries like Africa and Asia, where the poliovirus has recently been detected.
Officials claim travelers don't need to cancel the trips, but they do need to make sure that their vaccinations are up to date before they go on a journey.
