A tragic incident has left the world stunned after a young actor and singer from Illinois, Jarod Rhodes, was shot and killed right outside his home in Belleville.
According to reports from local media outlets, cops rushed to the 15-year-old talented star's home after hearing about reports of a gunshot. After arriving, they found the teen inside the garage suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the emergency medical assistance, he soon passed away from his injuries.
Authorities mentioned how early investigations suggested that this shooting didn't appear to be intentional, and no suspects were being sought while the investigation continued.
Rhodes had already started creating a promising career in the performing arts at such a young age. He was famed for taking part in a musical theater production in the St. Louis area and was even involved with firms like The Muny and the Center of Creative Arts.
