Hayden Panettiere’s Ex-Fiancé Makes Troubling Claim About Her Belongings After Her Death

Hayden Panettiere’s ex-fiancé is raising new concerns about what happened to some of the actress’ belongings following her death.

Wladimir Klitschko, the former professional boxer who shares an 11-year-old daughter with Panettiere, claims in a new court filing that someone who was previously connected to the actress but was not a family member may have sold some of her personal property to a pawn shop.

The items are believed to include jewelry, according to the filing. Klitschko says the pawn shop has declined to provide specific information about the items unless law enforcement becomes involved, raising concerns that the property could be sold or transferred before it can be recovered.

Klitschko is seeking temporary guardianship of Panettiere’s estate on behalf of their daughter, Kaya, who is her sole heir. He says protecting the estate is important to preserve what will eventually belong to their daughter.

His filing also raises broader concerns about Panettiere’s belongings, including claims that some personal property may be missing or could be mishandled. He is asking for authority to request law enforcement assistance in recovering property he believes may have been taken.

Panettiere, best known for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” died on Aug. 16 at age 36. Authorities determined that her death was an accidental overdose involving multiple drugs.

The latest claims do not establish who, if anyone, sold the belongings, and no individual has been publicly accused or charged over the alleged sale. The legal fight now centers on protecting Panettiere’s estate and recovering any property that may still be missing.
