Queen Camilla’s Doctor Found Dead While Hosting a Sleepover for Her 3 Children

A doctor who reportedly treated Queen Camilla was found dead at her family home while hosting a sleepover for her three children and their friends.

Hannah Cain, 45, known professionally as Dr. Hannah Terry, was found unresponsive in an upstairs bedroom in the early hours of Oct. 4.

Emergency services contacted police after being called to the home, where she was found not breathing and unconscious.

Cain worked as a general practitioner at Grimston Medical Centre and was reportedly part of a group of doctors regularly available to members of the royal family. Sources told British media that she had treated senior members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla. King Charles and Queen Camilla have reportedly been informed of her death.

Prosecutors later told a court that Cain had suffered a blunt-force injury to the right side of her head. A post-mortem examination also found an injury that could be suggestive of compression of the neck. The children were present at the property at the time, although officials have not publicly detailed what they witnessed.

Cain’s husband, Mark Cain, 45, was arrested and later charged with her murder. He appeared in court on Oct. 7 and was remanded in custody. He has not entered a plea, and no motive has been released.

The case has shocked Cain’s colleagues and neighbors, who described her as a warm, caring and dedicated doctor and mother. Her family said they were devastated by the loss of their loved one and asked for privacy as they mourn.

Police say the investigation remains in its early stages as detectives work to establish exactly what happened inside the home.

The tragedy occurred near the Sandringham estate, where members of the British royal family regularly stay.
