# Mom Accused of Attacking Her Own Children and Husband as 10-Month-Old Baby Is Found With Stab Wounds

A mother has been arrested after police say she attacked her husband and two young children with a knife inside their home early Tuesday morning.

Holly Leeann Flores, 37, was arrested after her 34-year-old husband called 911 around 4:30 a.m. and reported that his wife had stabbed him and their children, according to police. Officers arrived within minutes and detained Flores.

Police found the husband with a stab wound to his head. Their 3-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son were also found with stab wounds to their chests. All three were taken to the hospital, and authorities said their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The children remained hospitalized for observation, while police said they were expected to recover.

Flores was also taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries before being released and booked into the Denton County Jail. She faces two counts of attempted capital murder of a person under 10 and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to arrest records.

Investigators have not announced a motive or explained what led to the alleged attack. Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford said officers had previously been called to the family's home for welfare concerns five times since March, although he did not provide details about those visits.

The case remains under investigation, and the allegations against Flores have not been proven in court.
