Popular music group Radiohead was seen publicly condemning the US ICE agency over the unauthorized use of the band's song, dubbed "Let Down," in a new video that was shared online through social media.
The clip paired a choral version of the track with pictures and commentary about violent crime that the agency attributed to undocumented immigrants, which was part of a campaign linked to the Trump administration's hard-line immigration policies.
Sources from local media outlets shared more about how the band was not happy and slammed the Trump administration for using their music for something that they strongly stand against.
The band demanded that the video be taken down immediately, as their music means so much to them as well as to other fans. They similarly bashed the agency's social media team, which thought it was okay to indulge in this kind of unlawful behavior without seeking the band's permission.
The terms used were harsh, including amateurs, blunt, profane, rebuke, and similarly underscored how strongly they were against such acts for obvious reasons.
