President Trump made another major claim about the design of his $400 million White House ballroom project during a rambling press briefing at his Palm Beach residence on Monday.
This was co-hosted by Israeli's PM. After realizing that we were going to do the inauguration of that building, it's got all bulletproof glass inside, and it's all drone-free, Trump declared. He meant that drones cannot come close, let alone touch it.
Trump shared how every investment is going to be worth it, and in the end, it's one big, beautiful, and safe building.
Trump added how this is one building that was time of the essence and something that the US needed for more than 150 years. "We are ahead of schedule, and it's bigger'- he reminded the audience.
Speaking at the Hanukkah reception earlier this month, he declared how the ballroom would now cost nearly $400 million, double the $200 million that was first proposed.
