# Diners Face Chaos as Truck Smashes Through Restaurant in Wild Crash Caught on Camera

Diners were left facing a frightening scene after a pickup truck crashed through a busy restaurant, with video capturing the vehicle plowing into the dining area and causing extensive damage.

The crash happened on October 28 in Concord, California, where the truck reportedly struck two adjoining businesses, Chicken Thyme and Kabob Craze. Footage of the incident shows the vehicle barreling into the restaurant space, turning an ordinary day into a scene of confusion and destruction.

The driver was suspected of driving under the influence. That suspicion has not, by itself, established guilt, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain subject to investigation.

The impact caused significant damage to the businesses, leaving debris and wreckage inside the affected areas. The incident raised immediate concerns about the safety of customers and workers who may have been inside when the truck came crashing through.

Video from the scene shows just how suddenly a vehicle can enter a place where people expect to be safe. Restaurants are typically filled with customers focused on their meals and conversations, making an unexpected crash especially alarming.

Authorities are expected to investigate what led to the collision and whether impairment played a role. Any formal charges or findings would help clarify the driver’s responsibility.

The crash also serves as a reminder of the potential consequences of impaired driving. A single decision to get behind the wheel while intoxicated can put drivers, passengers and people in nearby businesses at risk.

As details emerge, the dramatic footage offers a clear view of the damage caused when the truck struck the restaurant. Officials have not yet provided a complete account of all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
