A shooting reportedly broke out inside a New Jersey Chick-fil-A on Saturday night, leaving several people injured after a group of men ended up storming in, went behind the food counter, and opened fire, as per reports.

The horror unfolded right before 9 pm at the fast food chain's Route 22 location in the Union. This has been in lockdown since then, with some workers still reported as being inside. Cops from the Union County police were seen rushing to the scene and probing the matter as the investigation continues.

A man who mentioned that his lover worked at the restaurant told CBS that a group of masked men charged inside and fired several shots after forcing their way behind the counter.
One employee's family member mentioned more about how the altercation erupted, and it left several workers injured in the gunfire.
